DragonFire Racing H-Style 4-Point Harness – Youth & 3in Buckle Options (Part #520872 / 521354 / 521355)

Factory Seatbelts Are Not Enough. Not For You. Not For Your Kids.

You spent good money on your UTV. You put on bigger tires. You added lights. You tuned the motor. But you are still holding yourself in with those flimsy factory seatbelts? The same ones that come on a golf cart? That does not make sense. And if you got kids riding with you? Those little lap belts are a joke. One bump and they are sliding around the seat. These are the DragonFire Racing H-Style 4-Point Harnesses. They keep you planted. No sliding. No bouncing. No flopping around when the trail gets rough.

Why H-Style?

Because H-style is simpler than a 5-point or 6-point harness. No center buckle between your legs. Just two shoulder straps, two lap straps, and one big buckle in the middle. Easy to get in and out. Easy for kids to use. Still holds you way better than a factory belt.

Three Options. Pick What Fits Your Crew.

We got three different versions of this harness. One for kids. Two for adults (black or red).

What Is Different About The Youth Version?

The Youth harness uses 2-inch wide straps instead of 3-inch. The buckle is smaller. The overall size is scaled down for smaller bodies. It fits kids much better than an adult harness. Do not put a small child in an adult harness. The straps will hit them in the wrong places.

Features & Benefits (All Versions)

  • H-Style 4-Point Design: Two shoulder straps, two lap straps. One central buckle.
  • Extended Sewn-In Shoulder Pads: Memory foam inside. Saves your collarbones on long rough rides.
  • Strong Cam Lock Buckle: Releases fast when you need out. Does not release on its own when bouncing.
  • Heavy Duty Webbing: DragonFire did not cheap out on this. It is thick. It is strong.
  • Bolt-In Mounting: Uses 7/16" hardware (not included). Bolts to harness anchors or roll cage mounts.

FAQ

Which one do I need for my kid?
Get the Youth 2in (520872) for kids roughly 40 to 90 pounds. Get the Adult 3in for teenagers or small adults. If your kid is over 100 pounds and tall enough, an adult harness might fit. Measure them.
Can I mix youth and adult harnesses in the same vehicle?
Yes. Driver and passenger can have adult harnesses. Rear seats or small passengers can have youth harnesses. Makes perfect sense.
What is the difference between H-style and 5-point?
H-style has no crotch strap (the fifth point). 5-point has a strap between your legs that prevents you from sliding under the lap belt in a crash. H-style is easier to get in and out of. For trail riding, H-style is fine. For hardcore desert racing, get 5-point.
Do these come with mounting hardware?
No. You need 7/16" fine thread bolts and backing plates. If you are mounting to a DragonFire anchor kit (1.75" roll cage clamp), that kit might include bolts. Check your anchor kit first.
Will these fit my Polaris RZR?
Yes, if you have harness mounts. Most RZR cages have cross bars behind the seats. You need wrap-around clamps or weld-on tabs. The harness bolts to those. They do not bolt to the floor.
Are these DOT approved for street use?
No. These are off-road only harnesses. Not DOT approved. Not legal for street driving in most states. Check your local laws. For trail riding, dirt roads, and desert, they are perfect.
How do I clean these when they get muddy?
Hose them off. Mild soap. Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals. Air dry. Do not put them in a washing machine or dryer.
What is the memory foam in the shoulder pads?
Same foam used in good racing seats. It molds to your shoulders over time. Makes long days less painful. Cheap harnesses use hard foam or no foam. These have the good stuff.
Can I use these in my car or truck?
No. These are for UTVs and off-road vehicles with roll cages. Cars have different seat and mounting geometry. Buy a street-legal harness for a car.
Why are the youth straps 2 inches instead of 3?
Because a 3-inch strap on a small child sits on their neck and collarbones wrong. 2-inch straps fit smaller bodies properly. DragonFire did this right.
I want red. Which part number do I order?
521355. That is the adult 3in buckle in red. The black adult is 521354. The youth only comes in black (520872).
