A super core is the heart of a turbo without the housings around it — compressor wheel, turbine wheel, shaft, and bearing system, sold as a standalone unit so it can be matched to whatever compressor and turbine housings a specific build actually needs. This category is Garrett’s G-Series and G-XRace cores, the kind of parts that show up in builds where the goal is a specific power number, not a general upgrade.

What’s stocked right now covers a wide range: the G55-2250 core rated for 1,000–2,250 HP across 3.0L to 12.0L displacement, and several G-XRace GXR55-88 and GXR50-88 cores with 88mm to 106mm turbine wheels, built around Garrett’s XBoost technology for faster spool without giving up top-end flow. The GXR55-88 is X275 legal, which matters if you’re building for a specific class rather than just chasing horsepower for its own sake.

These aren’t parts most people buy on a whim — a super core assumes you already know your housing specs, your compressor trim, and where this fits in the rest of your turbo system. Stock sits at two to five units across the board, and cores in this bracket don’t restock quickly once they’re gone. If your build calls for one of these specs, it’s worth locking it in rather than waiting and hoping it’s still there next month.
