No more coming in, and no returns once you've bought one, so make sure you've got the right travel length before you check out.FOX has been building air shocks since the 70s, back when Bob Fox himself put together the first one, and three decades of racing has a way of working the kinks out of a product. You can feel that history in these. Doesn't matter if you're catching air over whoops in the desert or crawling a tire up a ledge one inch at a time, the damping stays consistent instead of going soft on you halfway through the run, which is honestly where a lot of cheaper shocks start to fall apart.The body's a seamless alloy with a zinc finish, so it's not going to rust out on you, and the shaft is hard chromed 4130 steel, built to take a beating from rocks and debris without getting chewed up. FOX runs their own racing oil inside too, which they've spent years tuning specifically so the damping doesn't drift when the shock's working hard. And because everything in here is fully serviceable and tunable, you're not stuck buying a new shock every time your rig changes or your riding style shifts. Send it in, get it re-valved, keep running it.A couple smaller things worth mentioning: the bearings are Teflon-lined and heat treated, so the mounts stay smooth and don't develop play over time, and there's a redundant sealing setup keeping dirt and water out of places they shouldn't be. Small stuff, but it's usually the small stuff that decides how long a shock actually lasts.Four travel lengths are available here, so pick whichever matches your setup.
