You own a four-door Wrangler. You love it. But you have a problem. There is never enough room inside. Gear ends up on the back seat. The cargo area is a jumbled mess. Every trip means playing Tetris.This is the Body Armor 4x4 Interior Cargo Rack . Part #5147. Fits 2007-2026 Jeep Wrangler JK and JL Unlimited 4-Door models .It is a simple bolt-on steel shelf . It mounts in the rear cargo area. It lifts your gear off the floor . Suddenly, you have twice the usable space.

Why A Cargo Rack?

The rear of a four-door Wrangler is deep. But it is a single level. You pile stuff on top of stuff. The Body Armor rack creates a second level . You put heavy items on the floor. You put lighter gear on the rack. Everything is organized. The rack provides 22 inches of clearance below it on JL models . That is enough room for a cooler. For a tool bag. For a duffel bag.

How Does It Install?

It is a bolt-on design using pre-existing mounting points . No drilling required . The installation takes about one hour . You remove the hardtop bolts. You install the side panels. You bolt the shelf in place . That is it.

Works With Any Top

The rack works with a hardtop or no top at all . It also works with a soft top. You will lose the ability to retract the soft top fully with the rack installed .

    The interior cargo rack on my JKU is super solid and opens up so much storage space. Powder coat is quality and it doesn’t rattle over rough terrain.

    Built out my JK Unlimited for overlanding and the Body Armor interior cargo rack was the foundation of the setup. It’s incredibly solid, I’ve loaded it with camp gear, tools, and recovery equipment and it doesn’t flex or creak. The design keeps weight low and centered, which matters for a tall vehicle. Install was straightforward and the mounting hardware is quality. After two camping trips including some rough trail access roads, everything stayed secure. Excellent product for any Jeep owner who uses their rig for adventure.

    Added this Body Armor interior cargo rack to my JK Unlimited and it opened up so much usable space for camping gear that used to slide around loose in the back. Steel construction feels heavy-duty, no flex even loaded with coolers and recovery gear. Mounting used factory hard points so there was no drilling into the tub. Powder coat finish matches the rest of my black interior accessories. A full season of overlanding trips and it hasn’t loosened up at all. Great organizational upgrade for anyone who camps out of their Jeep.
