My ’71 Mustang had factory drums and stopping was always a nervous experience. Went with the Wilwood Dynalite kit and it’s a completely different car now. Brake bias is perfect for the street, and the red calipers look killer behind my polished wheels. My local shop installed it in an afternoon with no fitment issues. First real stop test in an empty parking lot. I was genuinely impressed. This is a must-have for any classic Mustang conversion.

My ’72 Mustang still had the original drum/disc spindle combo and stopping power was never something I trusted. Swapped to this Wilwood Dynalite kit and the improvement is night and day. The red calipers add a nice pop of color behind my Torq Thrusts too. Bedding in the pads took one afternoon and after that the pedal firmed right up with no fade even after repeated hard stops. Fitment was exactly as described with no spindle modification needed. Highly recommend for any early Mustang restoration.
