Dunlop D401 Rear Tire - 150/80B16 M/C 71H TL - Wide Whitewall

Part #: DUN45064563Want that classic whitewall look on your cruiser but don't want to give up ride quality for it? That's basically what the D401 is for. Dunlop built this one for Harley touring and cruiser bikes specifically, not a generic fitment stretched to work, and the wide whitewall version gives you that old-school side profile a lot of riders are chasing. Grip's solid in both wet and dry conditions thanks to the compound they use, and the tread's shaped so it wears down evenly instead of cupping on you, so you actually get the miles out of it before it's toast.

What you get with this one:

Real Harley-Davidson branding on the sidewall, this isn't some knockoff trying to look the part. Wear stays even over time, so you won't be chasing a vibration a few thousand miles down the road. Grip holds up whether it's raining or bone dry out. Tread life is solid for what it is. And obviously, the whitewall itself, if that's the look you're going for on your bike, this delivers it.Specs, laid out:

Why grab this one over something else

Honestly it's about as close to a factory-spec tire as you're going to get for a Harley cruiser or tourer, minus having to track down some boutique whitewall brand that costs twice as much for the same thing.

Before you hit buy

Go check your bike's specs, either the manual or the placard usually near the swingarm, and make sure 150/80B16 with a 71 load index actually lines up with what your bike needs. Don't just guess based on what's currently mounted unless you're sure that one was right to begin with.

Also worth mentioning

Once it shows up, get it mounted and balanced, don't try to skip that part. And check the pressure at least once a month after that. Touring bikes especially carry a lot of extra weight, rider, passenger, gear, so keeping the pressure right actually matters more than most people think about.

Questions people usually ask

Does this fit my Harley? Probably, if it's a cruiser or touring model, but check your specs against the size before ordering instead of assuming.Tubeless, right? Yep. "TL" means tubeless. What's the H rating mean exactly? Handles sustained speeds up to 130 mph. Way more than you'll actually need most of the time.Front or rear? Rear only, this one's not meant for the front. Is the Harley logo actually on it? Yeah, it's right there on the sidewall, official branding. How do I check if it'll work on my bike? Match the size and the load index against your bike's manual. Or compare it to what's on there now, assuming that tire was the correct fit in the first place.
