Ford put EcoBoost engines in the new Bronco. Good motors. Decent power. But the factory bypass valve? Plastic junk. It leaks boost. It makes no sound. And when you let off the gas after a hard pull? Nothing. Silence. Lame.This is the Turbosmart Kompact EM Dual Port BOV. Part #TS-0223-1082. Fits the 2021 and newer Bronco and Bronco Sport. Works on the 2.0L, 2.3L, 2.7L, and 3.0L EcoBoost engines.It replaces that plastic factory valve with a billet aluminum unit. Holds boost. No leaks. And the "Dual Port" design means it vents to both the atmosphere (you get the whoosh sound) and recirculates back into the intake (no check engine lights).

Why Dual Port?

Because full atmosphere BOVs can cause problems on MAF-based cars. The engine measures air coming in. If you dump all that air out, the engine runs rich for a second. Dual port fixes that. Half the air goes out. Half goes back in. The ECU stays happy. You get the sound. No check engine light.

Why Kompact EM?

The "EM" stands for Easy Mount. It bolts right up to the factory location on the intercooler pipe. No cutting. No adapters. No custom fabrication. Unbolt the old plastic valve. Bolt this on. Plug in the factory electrical connector. Done.

FAQ

 Will this make my Bronco sound like a tuner car?
 It adds a distinct whoosh-PSSHH when you let off the gas. It is not obnoxious. It sounds like a turbo truck should sound. You will like it.
 Do I need a tune to run this BOV?
 No. The Dual Port design recirculates 50% of the air. The factory ECU never sees a problem. Bolt it on. Drive it. No tune needed.
 Will this fit my 2.7L Bronco?
 Yes. The 2.7L EcoBoost uses the same BOV flange as the 2.3L. This fits both.
 Is this CARB legal?
 Probably not. Most BOVs are not CARB legal. If you live in California, check the rules before buying. Off-road use only in some states.
How hard is the install?
 Easy. The BOV is on the passenger side intercooler pipe. Unplug the electrical connector. Remove two bolts. Pull the old valve off. Clean the surface. Bolt the new Turbosmart on. Plug it in. Twenty minutes with basic hand tools.
