COG Performance Suspension Packages (Cognito 4" & 5" Systems)

Stop looking at cheap spacer kits if you want to lift a 2020-2025 Silverado or Sierra HD. Shoving chunks of metal under your factory springs stretches out the front end, ruins your CV axle angles, and binds up the ball joints. Your truck will ride like a brick on the highway. The Cognito Performance Lift Kits actually fix the suspension geometry instead of wrecking it. Built right in the USA, these setups lift the front of your truck to sit level, keep the tires tracking at stock width, and save your front suspension droop travel so the truck doesn't slam over bumps. Plus, you get FOX 2.0 Remote Reservoir Shocks to control body roll and bounce under heavy payloads.

Choose Your Height:

  • The 4-Inch Setup (Part # 110-P0896): Lifts the front 4 inches and uses 2-inch heavy steel blocks to level out the rear axle line.
  • The 5-Inch Setup (Part # 110-P1270): Gives you a full 5 inches of front stance with 3-inch rear blocks. This variant utilizes a Non-Torsion Bar Drop cradle to keep your bars tucked up clean.

What’s in the Box and Why It Matters

  • Boxed Sheet Metal Upper Control Arms (SM Series): These are CNC robot-welded and powder-coated semi-gloss black. They flatten out the harsh ball joint angles caused by lifting your truck, giving you back your downward suspension travel. They ship with maintenance-free ball joints and polyurethane bushings pressed in place.
  • Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit (PISK): GM steering links are notorious for wearing out early, causing your steering wheel to feel loose and sloppy. This patented bolt-on bracket kit locks down the center link to stop that front-to-back play entirely.
  • FOX 2.0 Reservoir Shocks (PSRR): These have extruded aluminum bodies that cool down way faster than cheap steel twin-tubes. The extra oil and nitrogen capacity in the external piggyback reservoirs stop your shocks from fading or foaming on brutal washboard roads.
  • Differential Drop Crossmembers: Drops the front diff down to match the new ride height. This keeps your high-torque CV axles running at perfectly safe angles to prevent torn boots or snapped joints.
  • Rear Hardware: Heavy-duty cast steel rear lift blocks and zinc-plated U-bolts to secure your rear axle mapping.

Quick Shop FAQs

Will my torsion bars hang low under the frame?
No. Both setups use a Non-Torsion Bar Drop architecture. The bars stay tucked completely inside the truck's frame rails so you don't lose ground clearance or get caught up on rocks and stumps off-road.
Do I need to cut anything to fit a 37-inch tire?
If you run a 37" x 12.50" tire on a 9-inch wide wheel with a 0mm or +18mm offset, you just need to pull back the plastic fender liner and do some minor trimming on the inner plastic. If you try to run wide wheels with aggressive negative offsets, you're going to have to trim metal.
Does this kit mess up my towing capacity?
No. Cognito builds their suspension components to handle factory towing and payload limits. Thanks to the custom-valved FOX reservoir shocks and proper suspension travel, the truck stays stable and firm when you hook up a heavy fifth-wheel or dump trailer.
