A Chrome Fat Bob Dash Built for Classic Softail Riders

The Bikers Choice 91–95 FXST FLST Chrome Fat Bob Dash is made for riders who notice when something feels off the moment they sit on the bike. A worn, dull, or cracked dash breaks the flow of the tank and takes away from the classic Softail presence. This die-cast chrome Fat Bob dash restores that center line and gives your bike the solid, finished look it had when it first rolled out.Designed to fit 1991–1995 FXST and FLST models, this dash directly replaces H-D 71241-91, making it a reliable choice for restorations, clean rebuilds, or simple upgrades.

Why This Fat Bob Dash Feels “Right” Once Installed

Anyone who has worked on older Softails knows the dash is more than a cover. It ties the tanks together visually and structurally. The Bikers Choice 91–95 FXST FLST Chrome Fat Bob Dash follows the original Fat Bob shape closely, so it sits naturally between the tanks without awkward gaps or forced alignment.Once mounted, it doesn’t draw attention to itself—and that’s the point. It simply completes the bike.

Features Explained Through Real Rider Benefits

Die-Cast Metal Construction

This dash is made from die-cast metal, giving it weight and rigidity. It doesn’t flex or vibrate like thin stamped parts. What you feel: A solid center section that stays tight and quiet on the road.

Chrome Finish That Completes the Look

The chrome finish adds a bright contrast between the tanks. It pairs naturally with chrome bars, risers, and controls, without looking overdone. What you see: A cleaner tank line that looks finished, not patched together.

Direct Replacement Fit

Built to replace H-D 71241-91, this dash aligns with factory mounting points and tank spacing. What you avoid: Grinding, bending, or forcing parts to fit.

Keeps the Fat Bob Identity Alive

The Fat Bob dash is a defining feature of classic Softails. Removing it changes the bike’s character. This piece keeps that identity intact. What it means: Your Softail still looks like a Softail—strong, wide, and balanced.

Where This Dash Shines Most

This dash is often chosen during tank repaint jobs or full restorations. Riders who invest time in paint don’t want a tired dash ruining the result. Builders also use it when refreshing older bikes that still run strong but need visual attention. It’s not flashy. It’s correct. And that’s why experienced riders choose it.

Installation Notes
