The factory hitch option is expensive and hard to find.This is the Kuryakyn Trailer Hitch. Available in two versions to fit your GL1800. Part #7642 for 2001-2010 models. Part #7641 for 2012-2017 models.Kuryakyn has been making aftermarket parts for almost 40 years. They know Gold Wings. This hitch is designed for superior strength and rigidity. It bolts on with basic hand tools. No drilling required. Once installed, it looks factory.

Why This Hitch?

The 6-point mounting system gives you the strength you need for towing. Installation is easy with the bike on its center stand. The mounting framework is completely out of sight when installed. Only the hitch ball assembly is visible once the receiver is installed. The rear support plate removes easily for quick tire changes.The hitch comes with a 1-7/8-inch ball. You will need to add a trailer wiring harness and receptacle kit. Kuryakyn sells those separately.
