Why Monster-Ram?

FAQ

Do I need a tune for this?
No. The Monster-Ram works with the stock tune. The mass air flow sensor reads the air. The ECU adjusts fuel. No check engine light.
Will this void my warranty?
No. It is an intake tube. Does not affect emissions. Does not require tuning. Magnusson-Moss protects you. Keep your stock parts if you are worried.
How hard is the install?
One hour. Basic hand tools. Remove the factory intake tube. Install the Monster-Ram. Reconnect the sensors. That is it.
Will this work with a cold air intake?
This works with the factory air box. If you have an aftermarket cold air intake, check fitment. Some work. Some do not. Banks designed this for the stock air box.
Is this CARB legal?
Check Banks' website for CARB exemption. Intake tubes are usually legal because they do not change emissions tuning. But California is strict. Check before you buy if you live in CA.
