Atturo Trail Blade BOSS SxS Tire - 29x11R14 75N

Sizes: 28x10R14 | 29x9R14 | 30x10R14 | 30x10R15 | 32x10R15 | 33x10R15 | 35x10R15 Construction: Radial | 8PR Steel Belted | Tubeless | Hard TerrainPlenty of SxS tires look the part sitting on a shelf. You bolt them on, hit the first real section of rocks or mud, and figure out pretty quickly whether they actually back it up. The Trail Blade BOSS backs it up.Atturo pulled the tread design straight from their race-proven LT truck tire and brought it to the SxS market — same pattern, same philosophy, purpose-built for side-by-sides. Seven sizes cover 14 and 15-inch wheels. Pick the one that fits your machine and your terrain.

The Tread Does Real Work

Split tread blocks let water and debris pass through without weakening the tread. The high void ratio builds massive biting edges that clean out mud and debris on the go. Alternating shoulder blocks dig into extreme terrain with serious power. Built-in rim protectors guard your wheels from rock rash. And the 8PR steel-belted construction is built in world-class facilities with the strength to back all of it up.Here's what that actually means on the trail. The split blocks keep the tire from packing up with mud halfway through a section and losing all its grip. The high void ratio means the knobs are always presenting fresh edges to the terrain — every rock, every root, every loose ledge gets the same bite as the first one. The alternating shoulder lugs are oversized and staggered so when you're climbing a rock face or holding a sidehill, the tire is actually working the terrain instead of skating across it. And the rim protectors — those matter more than people realize until the first time a jagged rock clips a set of expensive aftermarket wheels.Rock and mud performance both rate 10 out of 10 from Atturo. Sand comes in at 9 out of 10. This tire was built for the hard stuff.

Compatibility

The 14-inch sizes — 28x10R14, 29x9R14, and 30x10R14 — cover machines running factory or mild aftermarket 14-inch wheels. Most of these fit without needing a lift or fender work, making them the practical starting point for stock and near-stock builds. The 15-inch sizes — 30x10R15, 32x10R15, 33x10R15, and 35x10R15 — are for machines already running 15-inch wheels or builds that have been lifted and are ready for a larger footprint.

A few things worth knowing before you order:

The 29x9R14 is the narrowest tire in this lineup. At 9.5 inches wide with an approved rim range of 5.0 to 7.5 inches, it's the right pick if your machine runs a narrower wheel or if width clearance is a concern on your setup. The 28x10R14 is the most stock-friendly size here. At 28.2 inches overall diameter it clears factory fenders on most 14-inch machines without modification. The 33x10R15 and 35x10R15 are big tires. Before you order either of those, check your clearance at full suspension droop. Depending on your machine you may need a lift, spacers, or fender trimming. Measure first — finding a rubbing issue in the driveway is a lot less frustrating than finding it on the trail. All variants are tubeless. Your rims need to be tubeless-compatible. Also confirm your rim width falls within the approved range for the size you're ordering — running a tire outside that range affects how the bead seats and how the tire handles.

Installation

Clean both bead seat areas before mounting and use tire lube on the bead. Inflate slowly and make sure both beads are fully seated before going to running pressure.Max inflation is 38 PSI across the board. Most SxS riders run considerably lower pressure off-road — somewhere in the 10 to 18 PSI range depending on terrain and load. Use your manufacturer's recommended baseline and dial it from there.Torque your wheel hardware to spec. Hard terrain generates a lot of lateral load through the wheel assembly and loose hardware is a real problem that's easy to avoid. If you went with one of the larger diameter sizes, do a slow lap of your property at full lock before heading out. Better to find a clearance issue there than on a rocky trail.

Trail Hazard Protection — Free With Every Tire

Every Trail Blade BOSS SxS comes with Atturo's 24-month Trail Hazard Protection at no extra cost. Flat tire repair is covered up to $40 per occurrence — and if the tire can't be fixed, Atturo replaces it. Coverage works anywhere in the US and Canada on any surface — pavement, rocks, sand, trails, all of it.Most tire warranties only cover road damage. This one covers the damage that actually happens to this tire in real use. Full replacement cost is covered in year one, 50% in year two. Register at atturo.com after purchase to activate.

Who This Is For

SxS riders who spend real time on real terrain. Rock crawling, tight wooded singletrack, deep mud runs, hardpack desert trails — this tire was built for that kind of use, not for occasional light-duty trail rides. The 14-inch sizes work well for stock and mildly built machines where the smaller diameters fit without additional modifications. The 15-inch sizes are for more built-out rigs where clearance has already been addressed and a larger, more aggressive tire is the logical next step.If most of your riding is groomed trail or moderate terrain, Atturo's Trail Blade X/T SxS is the better fit — it's a hybrid design that trades some off-road aggression for a smoother, quieter ride. If you're regularly putting the machine into serious terrain, the BOSS is the right call.

Key Benefits

Racing tread lineage — The pattern came from a real race-proven LT tire, not a styling exercise. There's a reason it performs the way it does.Self-cleaning split tread blocks — Sheds debris on the go so the tread keeps working through multiple consecutive obstacles without packing up.High void ratio biting edges — More traction surface area across rock, hardpack, and loose terrain. Fresh edges every time.Oversized alternating shoulder blocks — Built for sidehills, rock faces, and angled terrain. Where straight-pattern shoulders lose it, these hold.Built-in rim protectors — Practical protection for aftermarket wheels that pays off every time a rock clips the sidewall.8PR radial steel belt — Carcass strength that holds its shape under the lateral and impact loads that hard terrain generates.24-month Trail Hazard Protection — Off-road tire protection that actually covers off-road damage. Comes free with every tire.

FAQs

How do I pick between 14-inch and 15-inch?

Match your wheel diameter. 14-inch wheels take the first three sizes, 15-inch wheels take the last four. From there it comes down to the diameter and width that works for your clearance and setup.

Will the 33x10R15 or 35x10R15 fit my stock machine?

Probably not without some work. Big diameter tires need room. Measure your current wheel well clearance at full droop and compare it to the overall diameter before ordering. For most unmodified machines the 28 to 32-inch range is the safer choice.

Do these need tubes?

No. All variants are tubeless. Mount on a tubeless-compatible rim with no tube needed.

What pressure should I run?

38 PSI is the maximum. Off-road running pressure for most riders is well below that — typically 10 to 18 PSI depending on terrain, load, and conditions. Start with your manufacturer's recommendation and adjust from there.

What does the Trail Hazard Protection actually cover?

Trail damage — punctures, cuts, and similar hazards — is covered for repair up to $40 per occurrence anywhere in the US and Canada, including off-road. If the tire is unrepairable, Atturo replaces it. 100% covered in year one, 50% in year two. Register at atturo.com to activate. Full terms are at atturo.com/trail-hazard.

How does the BOSS compare to the Trail Blade X/T SxS?

The BOSS is the aggressive option — mud, rock, hard terrain, maximum off-road performance. The X/T is a hybrid that trades some of that aggression for a smoother, quieter ride on hardpack and groomed surfaces. Both are solid tires. The question is whether you need maximum off-road capability or a balance between performance and comfort.

How does it handle sand?

Really well for an aggressive mud and rock tire. Atturo rates it at 9 out of 10 for sand. The high void ratio and aggressive tread dig and float in loose sand better than most tires in this category. It won't outperform a purpose-built sand tire, but for mixed terrain that includes sandy sections it handles it without issue.
