You are basically a dark blob rolling down the highway.This is the Kuryakyn Omni L.E.D Rear Fender Cover. It replaces that empty space with a satin black panel that has integrated Omni L.E.D. lights. What You Need To Know Before Buying

Important – Wiring Adapter Sold Separately: This cover does not come with the plug-and-play harness. Otherwise, you are splicing wires.

FAQ

I am not good with wiring. How hard is this?

If you buy the Kuryakyn adapter #3268, it is a 10-minute job. You pop off the seat, unplug the factory tail light connector, plug the adapter in between, and connect the fender cover. No wire strippers, no soldering. If you try to hardwire it without the adapter, it becomes a pain.

Will this replace my stock tail light or just add to it?

It adds to it. The factory tail light stays where it is. This cover sits below it, on the fender itself. You end up with two brake light zones: the stock light and this whole fender panel. It is much harder for traffic to miss.

Is this street legal?

Yes. It functions as an auxiliary running light and brake light. It is red (not blue or flashing), so it is legal in all 50 states. Just don't wire it to strobe.

The description says "Omni L.E.D." What does that mean?

"Omni" is Kuryakyn's name for their flexible, high-density L.E.D. strip. It is brighter than standard aftermarket strips and is sealed against rain. Unlike cheap Amazon strips that lose L.E.D.s after one winter, these hold up.
