Is computer programming required after installing this transmission?
Yes. You cannot just bolt this in and drive away. You must use a Ford scanner or an equivalent professional diagnostic system to program the new solenoid strategy code (provided with the unit) straight into your truck’s Transmission Control Module (TCM). After coding, a proper TCM adaptive relearn process must be performed. Skipping this will cause immediate shifting issues and can ruin the new clutches.
Does this transmission package have a core charge?
