Kuryakyn Skeleton Hand Mirrors
There's a certain kind of rider who looks at their stock mirrors and sees two things that don't belong on their bike. They're not wrong. Stock mirrors are designed by committees to fit every bike, offend nobody, and disappear into the background. If that's not the direction your build is going, the Kuryakyn Skeleton Hand Mirror is worth a hard look.
A fully detailed skeletal arm rises from your handlebar. Bone by bone, the anatomy is there — the kind of detail that makes people stop mid-conversation in a parking lot and crouch down to get a closer look. The hand closes around the mirror head the way a real hand would, fingers wrapped, knuckles defined, and right at the wrist is where the engineering meets the art. That joint isn't just there to look realistic. It's the actual pivot mechanism for mirror adjustment — smooth to move, firm once set, and solid enough that highway vibration doesn't shake it out of position over a long ride. Kuryakyn built the function into the sculpture rather than bolting adjustment hardware onto the side of it. That's the difference between a novelty and an accessory.
The mirror head measures 5 inches wide by 3 inches tall — a rectangle of flat, clear glass that gives you a proper field of view behind you. Not a decorative convex sliver. Not something you squint at hoping to spot the truck that's been riding your tail for the last ten miles. Real visibility, real glass, and ECE-compliant construction that meets international road standards so you're not running something that'll get you flagged at an inspection.
Choose Your Finish
The bone structure, the wrist joint, the mirror head dimensions, the aluminum construction — all of it is identical across every variant. What changes is the finish, and that one decision changes the entire character of the mirror on your bike.
Black/Black is the full commitment. Stem, hand, and mirror head all in black — no contrast, no shine, nothing to break the darkness of a blacked-out build. If your bike runs flat black, matte finishes, or an all-dark custom theme, this is the one that belongs on it.
Black/Chrome puts a black skeleton arm against a chrome mirror head. The contrast works in both directions — the dark bone structure reads more sinister against the polished face, and the chrome head catches light in a way that draws your eye straight to the hand holding it. It's the version that rewards a second look.
Chrome/Black flips it. The skeleton arm itself is now the polished element — every detail of the bone structure catches and throws light — while the mirror head stays dark and clean. If the craftsmanship of the hand is what you want people to notice first, this is the finish that makes that happen.
