Kuryakyn Scythe Mirrors — Black & Chrome
Most stock mirrors are an afterthought — a flat, forgettable piece of hardware bolted on because the law requires it. The Kuryakyn Scythe is something else entirely. It's a mirror that earns a second look before you've even thrown a leg over the bike, and then quietly does its job better than the part it replaced for every mile after that.
The design is immediately recognizable. The mirror head carries a knife-shaped silhouette — sleek, low-profile, and aggressive in a way that reads as intentional rather than decorative. The stem sweeps into a graceful arc that positions the mirror head further out and forward than a rigid stem ever could, solving a real ergonomic problem in the process. Heavily customized bars, tall risers, unusual riding positions — all of them can work against stock mirror placement and leave you fighting for a clear view behind you. The Scythe's arced stem puts the glass exactly where it needs to be without the awkward angles or constant readjustment that plague lesser mirrors.
And it is actual glass — top-quality optical glass fitted into that mirror head, giving you a clean and undistorted rear view that you can genuinely trust when you're checking traffic before a lane change at speed. That's not a detail worth glossing over. Visibility is safety, and the Scythe doesn't compromise on it.
Pick Your Finish
Both variants are built on the same construction, the same optical glass, and the same ball-and-socket swivel that holds firm under wind load and vibration once you've dialed in your angle. The difference is entirely about where your build is going visually.
The Black absorbs light rather than throwing it. It suits blacked-out builds, flat or matte paint, and any motorcycle where chrome would interrupt the visual flow.
The Chrome does the opposite — polished and unapologetically classic, it suits builds that already run chrome controls, polished covers, or traditional cruiser hardware that's defined American motorcycle aesthetics for generations.
