Burly TIG welds every joint on the Brawler Kit, which produces cleaner, stronger bonds than MIG welding and holds up under the sudden lateral loads that happen when a bike goes down. Paired with 7-gauge mild steel mounts and gussets, this isn't the kind of crash bar that bends on first contact and leaves the bike sitting on a crumpled frame rail — it absorbs impact and stays in shape.
Replaceable Delrin Sliders
The sliders are where the rubber meets the road — literally. When the bike goes down, the Delrin slider makes contact with the ground first and takes the abrasion so the steel bar doesn't get chewed up. When the slider is worn, you replace just the slider, not the whole crash bar. That's a smarter design than fixed bars, and it saves money over the life of the kit for riders who push their bike hard.
Front Bar Doubles as a Highway Bar

Installation Notes
Read these before ordering:
Mid-controls only. This kit does not fit bikes equipped with forward controls — there is no workaround for this.
FXBB Street Bob and FXDRS / FXDR 114 models require replacing the OEM exhaust due to interference with the right rear slider.
Front spoiler must be removed or replaced with an oil cooler cover to install the front crash bar. The kit will not fit with the front spoiler in place.
ABS-equipped models: The ABS brake hoses located in front of the engine may need to be re-routed during front crash bar installation.
Exhaust systems extending more than 1/2 inch beyond the front frame down tubes may interfere with front crash bar installation — check your exhaust before ordering.
After installation, check all clearances — frame, exhaust, and belt/tire — before riding.
