Kuryakyn Tracer Tour Pak Side Lights – Red Lens | PN 2943

Brand: Kuryakyn | Part Number: 2943 | Lens: Red | Sold: Pair

Nobody Sees the Sides of Your Tour-Pak — Until Now

You've probably never thought about it. Most riders don't. But next time you're following a touring bike at night, look at the sides of the Tour-Pak. Dead dark. No run light, no brake light, no turn signal — nothing at all. That trunk has been sitting there for years doing absolutely nothing in terms of visibility. And it's not like Harley made a mistake. They just never put lighting there. But ride that same bike through downtown traffic, or anywhere cars are switching lanes around you, and that blind spot on the sides starts to feel like a real problem. The Kuryakyn Tracer Side Lights snap that problem shut. One light on each side, wired into your brake and turn signal system, and now anyone beside you or at an angle behind you can actually see what you're doing. Slowing down. Turning left. All of it.That's the whole pitch. It's not complicated. It just works.

What Makes These Worth It

Real Brake and Turn Lights — Not Just Glow Lights

Say this out loud before you buy any Tour-Pak lighting: is it functional or is it decorative? A lot of stuff out there is decorative. Looks cool in a parking lot, does nothing useful on the road. These are functional. They tie into your brake circuit and your turn signal circuit. Hit the brakes and both side lights come on. Signal a turn and both sides flash. They also run as steady lights whenever the bike is running. Three functions, one light on each side, no extra switches to mess with.If you've ever had a car drift into your lane because the driver had no idea you were signaling, you know exactly why this matters.

Even, Clean Red LED Output

The Tracer design throws a fully diffused light across the whole lens — no dots, no hot spots, just an even red glow that looks like it belongs on the bike. Slim housing, low profile, nothing bulky sticking out. Riders who see it for the first time usually ask if it came stock.

Installs Without a Wiring Nightmare

Kuryakyn includes a Tour-Pak tracer adapter in the box. It connects to your existing wiring without any cutting or splicing — just plug in, screw down the housings with the four included self-tapping screws, and you're done. The instructions are straightforward. Most people finish this in their own garage on a slow afternoon.

Everything Ships in One Box

Left side light with red lens, right side light with red lens, one Tour-Pak tracer adapter, four #8-16 x 3/4 inch self-tapping screws, installation instructions. Open the box, do the install. No hardware store run, no waiting on a second shipment.

Questions People Actually Ask

Wait — these work as real brake and turn lights?
Yes. Not just accent glow — actual working brake and turn signal lights. The Tour-Pak adapter hooks into your existing brake and turn circuits. Brake goes on, they light up. Turn signal goes on, they flash. They also stay on as run lights while you're riding.
Do I need an electrician or can I do this myself?
Do it yourself. Plug and play means the adapter handles the electrical side without any wire cutting. Four screws for the housings. Instructions are in the box. Riders who've never done wiring work before have installed these without issues.
One order — both sides included?
Both sides. Left and right assemblies come together in one box. One order and you're set.
I'm already running Kuryakyn Tracer saddlebag lights. Will these match?
Same product line so yes, they match. Same lens style, same LED output, same look. Running both together — saddlebag lights and Tour-Pak side lights — is actually one of the more popular setups for Harley touring bikes because the whole rear end ends up looking like a complete, intentional lighting system.
Any smoke lens version?
Yes. PN 2944 is smoke lens. This one — PN 2943 — is red lens.
2025 bike — does this fit?
Tri Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCUTG is confirmed through 2025. Other 2025 Touring models — reach out first and we'll confirm. Takes about two minutes.
