Nuetech TUbliss Gen 2.0 — 18" Kit
Part Number: nueTU18 | Size: 18"
If you've ever pinch flatted mid-race, or backed off through a rocky section because you were running tube pressure just to keep the bead seated — the TUbliss system fixes both of those problems at once.
The concept is simple but genuinely clever. A small red insert replaces your conventional inner tube and sits tightly against the inside of the rim. Inflate it to 100 PSI and it locks the tire bead down all the way around — full circumference, not just at a rim lock. That high-pressure inner chamber handles rim protection and bead security. The outer tire cavity is completely separate, and you fill it like a tubeless car tire. Run it as low as you want. The bead isn't going anywhere.
Key Benefit
Low tire pressure means more of the tire touching the ground. More contact patch means more traction — in mud, on rocks, in hardpack corners, everywhere. Riders have run pressures from 12 PSI for high-speed desert riding all the way down to 1.5 PSI for extreme enduro trails, with obvious traction gains at every setting.
Without a conventional tube installed, tire temperatures are greatly reduced, which also eliminates pressure buildup during the course of a moto. And if you do puncture the tire, plug kits become a viable trail repair option since the bead stays seated on the rim even with air loss in the outer chamber.
Weight savings over a standard tube runs about one pound on a rear wheel — and several pounds lighter compared to heavy duty tubes. Less rotating mass means improved acceleration, braking, and overall handling feel.

What's in the Kit
The kit includes the red TUbliss insert liner, black high-pressure bladder, guide plate, rim tape and plug, sticker kit for rim, and installation guide.
Compatibility
The 18" kit is compatible with rim widths of 1.85–2.15 inches. Fits standard dirt bike and enduro rear wheels in that size range. Check with your tire manufacturer before installing — not all tire carcass constructions seal equally well with the TUbliss system. A new or nearly new tire works best for getting a proper seal on first install.
Note: You'll need to drill an existing rim lock hole to 10mm or drill a new hole to accommodate the TUbliss valve/rim lock combination. Japanese bikes and Austrian bikes (KTM, Husqvarna, GASGAS) have slightly different drilling requirements — follow the included instructions carefully.
Installation
First install takes longer than a standard tire change — plan an hour if it's your first time. Following the instructions makes the install straightforward, and Nuetech also provides an easy-to-follow video on their website. Use plenty of mounting lube on the tire bead. If you're having trouble sealing the outer chamber, tire sealant works well — add it before mounting the tire, not after.
Once it's installed, check the inner chamber pressure before every ride. The inner bladder can drop to 80–90 PSI if the bike sits for a few days, and lower pressure compromises the seal. A bicycle-style high-pressure pump brings it back in seconds.
Who This Is For
Enduro riders, GNCC racers, trail riders running technical terrain, and anyone tired of babying tire pressure just to avoid pinch flats. It's a particularly strong fit for off-road riders who want the benefits of low tire pressure without bead slippage or pinch flat risk. If you're a motocross-only rider on a manicured track, a standard tube setup works fine — but the moment rocks, roots, or loose terrain enter the picture, the TUbliss starts making a strong case.
FAQs
Will this work on my rim?
The 18" kit fits rims with a width of 1.85–2.15 inches. Measure your rim before ordering. If you're on a 21" front wheel, that's a separate kit.
Do I need to drill my rim?
Yes, in most cases. You'll need to modify an existing rim lock hole to 10mm, or drill a new one depending on your bike. Japanese and Austrian bikes have slightly different requirements. The included instructions cover both.
What PSI should I run in the outer tire?
That depends on terrain and personal preference. Most riders run 7–12 PSI on the outer chamber for trail and enduro use. Running 120 PSI in the inner chamber and 10 PSI in the outer tire is a setup that many test riders found offered big traction gains with no real negatives.
Can I use tire sealant with TUbliss?
Yes — and it's actually recommended. Add sealant to the outer tire cavity before mounting. Do not put sealant inside the high-pressure inner bladder.
What happens if I get a flat on the trail?
If the outer tire loses air from a puncture, the bead stays seated because the inner chamber is still holding it. You can plug the tire on the spot and keep riding. That's one of the biggest practical advantages over running tubes.
How often does the inner bladder need replacing?
Nuetech recommends replacing the inner bladder annually with regular use. Replacement bladders are available separately and are straightforward to swap in.
Is this harder to install than a regular tube?
The first time, yes — it takes more patience than a standard tire change. After that, most riders find it easier because there's no tube to pinch or worry about. Watch the Nuetech install video before starting and read the instructions all the way through first.
